End the sale of dogs and cats at all pet stores

Most pet shops get their dogs from puppy mills, regardless of what they tell the consumer. 3-4 million dogs are euthanized annually while an estimated 2.7 million healthy shelter pets are not adopted each year, and only about 30 percent of pets in homes come from shelters or rescues. With so many pets being unwanted it's time to decrease the number of backyard breeders and petshops, therefore allowing ONLY licensced breeders to breed the dogs making a "better product" if you will, for the consumer and....the dog.
