StraightTalk Wireless Must Allow All Cell Phones Access...

The best value for wireless cell phone service sponsored by the biggest discount retailer needs to allow customers to be able to use the cell phone of their choice.
After many months of research I have come to the conclusion that StraightTalk Wireless is the best value for prepaid unlimitted wireless service out there. It is offered exclusively from Wal-Mart and online at the StraightTalk website.
The draw back is the customer MUST purchase a StraightTalk cell phone in order to take advantage of the great value their service offers. The line of handsets is limitted and not up to par on technology compared to other provider's phones. The StraightTalk phones are very expensive with no discounts or deals as you would get when starting a plan with another major provider.
For example; AT&T is great in the fact that all you need to do to upgrade or just change your phone is take the SIM card out and put it into any other AT&T phone and it's good to go because all of your information is saved on your SIM card. Making it very easy to switch phones if yours breaks or you receive a new one as a gift, etc.
With StrightTalk it is not as easy, their is no SIM card that saves all your personal data and features that you can transfer to a new or different phone if yours breaks or you get a new one. The StraightTalk line of cell phones is very limitted and just not as fun as other providers have.
The purpose of this petition is to encourage StraightTalk and Wal-Mart to consider a new process and allow customers to used the phone of their choice with the StraightTalk service.
Simply all it would mean is StraightTalk customers could have their service transferred to any cell phone they own from any other provider. This would make the perfect cell phone service available to the perfect cell phone to each individuals needs and interests.

We the undersigned request that your Corporations open up the StraightTalk Wireless Service to any and all cell phones available from other providers. Your StraightTalk Wireless Service is by far the best value and has the best coverage for cell phone users. Many of your current customers have cell phones that they are unable to use since leaving their former provider to join your service and would like to be able to continue using that phone with your service. We are simply asking that it be possible to join StraightTalk by just calling customer service and asking to have StraightTalk be transferred to the cell phone we own regardless of the previous carrier to that phone. Thank you for your time and consideration of our proposal and the goal we are hoping to accomplish, with your help and understanding this can be done and many current and future customers will be completely satisfied with your services.
