Struggling families up and down the UK are turning to The Salvation Army to help them survive because of policies like the two-child benefit limit. Over 7.5 million families with children in the UK are trapped in poverty – that's nearly 27% of all families. Parents are being forced to choose between heating and eating, even skipping meals themselves so that their kids can eat. Ultimately, it is children who suffer the most from the two-child benefit limit.
The UK Government must end the two-child benefit limit that is punishing families and pushing them deeper into poverty.
