Make Spaying and Neutering a LAW in America!

Six million cats and dogs—about one every eight seconds—are put down in U.S. shelters each year. Often these animals are the offspring of cherished family pets. Spay/neuter is a proven way to reduce pet overpopulation, ensuring that every pet has a family to love them.

Many cats and dogs who die as a result of pet overpopulation could have made wonderful pets. A solution is possible and starts with each of us taking one small step: getting our own pets spayed or neutered.

We need to come together and sign this petition to tell the President of the United States to make this a law. You have to spay/neuter every single pet you own or aquire! 

Kitten and puppy mills are also an illegal form of breeding pets for animal stores. In additon to this law, this type of breeding should also be outlawed.

This excludes people with special licences to breed, not purely for profit.
