China wants to be a modern country and wants its residents to enjoy prosperity.
It is no longer of this time to mistreat animals terrible drug. The rhinos are nearly extinct. The powder from crushed horns sold for big money as a cure for cancer. Bears are in narrow cages all their lives, often with a rusty tap into their gall bladder to drain bile. Tigers are emaciated to the bone etc. etc.
The fact that China had a one child policy says it ... then why are animals tortured for medicines agains impotence? It's never been proven that these drugs are effective!
Unfortunately, there are many such atrocities known in China.
The dogs and cats meat trade, fur, wool and leather trade, animals used for entertainment etc. etc. And do not forget the cruel tests on animals which are mandatory in China.
The quality of products made in China leaves a lot to be desired. Remember the environment that suffers terribly because of this.
There are millions of people who boycott travel and trade with China until the animal mistreatments stop and the animals get rights.
We ask you urgently to change this. To appoint a minister for animal welfare, to make a law to address animal cruelty rigorous and ensure that the law is enforced.
