PETITION FOR DECENT STANDARDS AT SVA

Sign this petition and help to uphold certain standards at SVA.

The petition intends to gather enough signatures to put pressure on the responsible to remove the water fountain at 2nd floor in the 133 W21st building.

Since there are computers on the 2ndf floor, it is not responsible to have a water fountain at this floor. There’s no reason student comfort should be more important than electronics. Students and staff can just drink water on other floors.

In order to maintain our electronic devices in a proper manner, it is necessary to understand the potentially lethal impact of water, and take certain measures with regards to this. The school already has certain policies to avoid potential catastrophe, and have rules that strictly prohibit drinking water or other beverages on the whole floor. This came to my knowledge on Wed. the 27th of January when I was having a drink of water in the hall area of the floor.

It must be clear to all, with existing policies in mind that the water fountain is completely unacceptable, and is a disgrace to the standards of the College. Signing will apply pressure to expel this potentially dangerous, or downright lethal, element.

It will help getting further in the work for standardization of the College. The next cause will be implementing mandatory health check at this particular aforementioned floor, so we can prevent also body liquids to warfare against our beloved electronics.
