Boomerang was my favorite channel when I was little and I'm sure many other people shared a favorite and for good reason. Boomerang used to be a place to aor Hanna Barbara and old Cartoon Network cartoons. They used to have little toy bumpers, one before and one after each show to promote boomerang and make it popular. These alone were pretty entertaining. Instead of commercials, they used to have little shorts of the cartoons on the channel. (Boomerang-a-long, boomer-action, etc.) The channel has now rebranded after 15 years, and it isn't boomerang anymore. The logo is no longer the boomerang symbol we've all come to know and love, it had turned into a cheesy Cartoon Network logo with boomerang written on it in place of Cartoon Network. They no longer have the toy bumpers to promote boomerang, they have them to show shows on the channel. The narrorator of the old boomerang was great, good acting and expression, well his job has been given to some 10 year old and it isn't pretty. Boomerang-a-longs and the other shorts are no longer, normal TV advertising has taken its place. And they don't even show many Hanna Barbara shows anymore, now it composed of these shows: The Flinstones (12 am-1 am) the smurfs (2am-3am the amazing world of gumball (all the time) teen titans go! (All the time) Tom and jerry (often but not as often as the last two listed) scooby doo, where are you? (Often but not as much as other shows on the channel.) Power puff girls (rarely) so they have some of the food shows but not near as much and it isn't the same with normal commercials and no toy bumpers. They may as well call it "Cartoon Network 2" cause that's what it turned into. If you are a fan of the old boomerang and don't like what they did to it now, sign this petition! I and many others want it back!
