Plans for an expansion of the Deltaport terminal at Roberts Bank in Vancouver, British Columbia, stand to further devastate populations of migratory birds in the area. Situated along the Pacific coast migratory route, the Delta wetlands provide a rich natural habitat for numerous bird species making annual airborne treks across the Earth. Destroying this vital habitat would also destroy the bird species who depend on it; the industrial expansion of the area must be stopped before bird populations vanish completely.
