Stop Treating French Climate Activists Like Criminals at COP21

While the world is watching and waiting for world leaders to "ActOnClimate" at COP21, things are already heating up for French climate activists. Emergency laws after the horrible Paris terrorist attacks have granted French authorities new powers, and many activists claim that police are abusing that power and endangering their civil liberties:

-- 24 activists were put on house arrest for disregarding a ban on organizing protests

-- Activists are being followed by undercover police

-- Climate activists are having their homes raided and possessions (including computers and documents) seized

People trying to save the planet should NOT be on top of France's security watch.
