Houdini The Bear Keeps Escaping Capture and Death

There is a brown bear in Italy who is making waves by being "an escape genius", thus his nickname: Houdini. Houdini was caught by Italian rangers after getting too close to people and somehow got free from 3 electric fences and a four ft barrier! But now authorities have ordered his death. 

Will you sign on to ask Italian authorities not to kill this special animal?

He was initially caught in what's called a tube trap, which is the most humane was to trap a bear, so hopefully they use that again. It makes sense that they don't want our friend Houdini too near to a town where he could become accustomed to people food and potentially endanger a community. But that certainly doesn't mean he should die!

Houdini is an Alpine Brown Bear, only 1 of about 50 of his kind in the area. It would not only be cruel to kill him, it would be tragic for the population!
