This is a petition to ask citizens around the world to express support for a regular basic income to be given unconditionally.
In this day and age, with so much innovation and technology and wealth, no one deserves to live in the fear of not have sufficient means to cover the basic needs of life.
If we want people to work, we should strive to create jobs that speak to them and are meaningful to society.
For truly undesirable and hard jobs, workers should be adequately compensated rather than being forced to do them because they have no other choice.
And yes, all of us should be freed from incessant production and consuption to have more time for conversation, relationships, creativity, and time to think.
