In a shocking assault on both our sanity and the rule of law in America, Donald Trump has nominated MAGA extremist and credibly accused sexual predator Matt Gaetz to be our next Attorney General.
The nomination comes at a very convenient time, as Gaetz resigned immediately from the House and thus blocked the release of an investigation into the accusations of sexual misconduct and sex trafficking levied against him by underage girls. Those allegations should be reason enough to disqualify him from holding ANY position in government, let alone ATTORNEY GENERAL.

To make matters worse, Matt Gaetz has been a fervent defender of the January 6th insurrectionists — saying that he is "proud of the work we did on January 6" and has made it shockingly clear that he is in full favor of abusing the law to punish and prosecute political enemies.
