This has been an issue for YEARS apparently, YEARS. Apparently they have been investigated and found nothing to be wrong. There IS something wrong, sick animals are handled and treated as damaged goods. Example: I informed the worker that the puppy was throwing up and lathargic, she proceeded to GRAB the dog flip it over on his back and PAT it's stomach and then drag it to the back, who knows how long before that animal gets any proper care! He was drug to the back where you could clearly hear dogs screaming at the top of their lungs and crying. The dogs barely had ANY food or water, for 4 dogs in one "shed" there was one small bowl with food that looked like it had been there for days it was gross looking. When one of the workers handled the puppy she picked up and DROPPED him by holding him under his armpits as if picking up an infant. Who knows how many times that poor pup has been handled like that. I understand the need for family member and people to see and be able to touch the pups however there were children grabbing the puppies by their necks with workers standing right there watching. I also witnessed two pups playing and play fighting, tails wagging and everything, and a worker proceeded to grab the one pup out and scold and handle him by the scruff and slap him in the snout. THEYRE PUPPIES THEY PLAY plus you have different breeds with different temperaments in the same pen of course they're gonna butt heads sometimes. I got curious and asked if anyone there got any certifications in animal care or even have to pass a training class on how to handle and restrain the dogs and she proceeded to ignore my question and come at me with a smart remark of "well I'm educated i have an associates degree" but not in animal care or anything of that nature. She said they get a bit of training at the start of their career there but nothing serious and the owner although she is certified none of her staff is properly trained. Please help me stop even one of these pet shops!!!!!
