March 25th, 2011, 9 pm: Light a candle where ever you are irrespective of any events happening or not, keep it burning for at least 10 minutes and focus your mind on all people and animals suffering the cruelties of those in our midst who are committing atrocities and those who are indifferent to what goes on in our world every day. This will be repeated every 3 months with more candles, until people will begin to ask what's going on. All you need to say is: "We're doing this with others around the world to raise awareness that animosity, cruelty and atrocities must end".

http://www.peopleforglobaljustice.com We the undersigned pledge to hold a quarterly Global Consciousness Day to raise awareness of the suffering of wildlife, farm animals and domestic pets imposed world wide by atrocities, cruelty and neglect by governments, corporations and individuals, either directly or indirectly.
We do not see any government taking appropriate measures to stop animal cruelty, whether by prohibition or education. You allow the destruction of animal as well as human habitat, the poisoning of our ecosystem, laboratory animal testing, cruel slaughter of animals, killing for sport, the pollution of our forests and oceans, you allow pet breeders to raise caged animal over population, ignore the stress animals go through in all profit based animal industries and the pain inflicted by transport, shipping and mishandling. You turn a blind eye to poachers, fur manufactures, tourist industries, wildlife safari operators and animal entertainment industries, you allow many sports that cause suffering and stress to animals.
You are leaving us no other choice but to raise awareness globally that cruelty to animals, as with cruelty to humans and the destruction of out environment will no longer be tolerated and we will campaign for as long as necessary until you no longer turn a blind eye to the millions of atrocities going on every day.
We ask you to change the way you govern your country, to place prohibition on all forms of cruelty, to end habitat destructive behavior whether corporate or private and to put education relevant to Life on your priority agenda.
We thank you for listening and helping us to bring this awareness cause to your parliamentarians, local councils and constituents.
Yours sincerely,
signersigner
