Don't Raise Parking Meter Rates on 5th or 7th!

The New York City Department of Transportation is proposing another increase in meter rates along Park Slope's Fifth and Seventh Avenues to $2.50 per hour during peak times (noon to 4 PM). 
The Park Slope Fifth Avenue Business Improvement District and the Park Slope Chamber of Commerce believe that such an increase will hurt merchants and discourage people from shopping and dining along our community's central commercial strips.
