Please oppose the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation (WHISC). Soldiers in Latin America trained by our armed forces under this program have committed and continue to commit many documented atrocities, killings, and tortures of innocent civilians.
Please oppose Plan Colombia and the Andean Initiative as well. Although stopping cocaine traffic is a necessary pursuit, the fumigations our taxes pay for under Plan Colombia kill food crops, poison people's drinking water, and cause people illnesses like blindness and sores - with no reduction in cocaine traffic into our great country. The Andean Initiative would extend the failed Plan Colombia to neighboring countries. Please oppose these policies in the name of all the goodness and moral values that America stands for.
