Calling all cowgirls and cowboys! "Save a horse, ride a ______!" They are not livestock they are companion animals

Got your attention? First rule of a good petition. Hope I didn't make any copyright infringements. I was born into a horse family, and considering a horse as livestock is just absurd. They are companions. They are your love, your psychiatrist, they are so many things, but they are not livestock to be sold to slaughter houses as meat! If a horse is older or unwanted there are so many better options. Like donating them to a therapeutic riding facility, where handicapped children and adults, can experience the thrill of mobility and freedom. If there is isn't one in your area, how about starting one?  I am asking also that Budweiser whose symbol is the Clydesdale horse for decades, and Marlboro, remember the Marlboro cowboy and his horse?, support this petition. I think they owe them that much, wouldn't you agree. They have served us throughout the ages in so many ways. They deserve to be considered as our companions.
