Parking Restrictions on Ellen Street (Idyle Hills Estates, Livonia)

Gathering neighborhood support for a request to the Livonia Traffic Commission to restrict parking to only one side of Ellen Street. The proposal is to place no parking signs on the east side of Ellen Street from the entrance (north of 5 Mile Road) to south of the Bell Branch Creek. Parking on both sides of Ellen Street is causing several issues:

• Traffic Congestion - With cars parked on both sides, it is often difficult for two-way traffic to move smoothly.
• Safety Concerns - Emergency vehicles and school buses struggle to navigate the street, which poses a risk in case of an emergency.
• Limited Access - With only one entrance/exit to our neighborhood, clear streets are essential for safety and ease of access.
