Department of Environmental Affairs

Whereas the protection of the Earth's environment has become an urgent priority in the United States since the 1960s,

and whereas the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) was established on December 2, 1970, to address this issue,

and the United States government needs to do more in order to protect the Earth's environment.

Therefore, we the undersigned request that the United States Government reorganize the EPA into a Cabinet-level office known as the Department of Environmental Affairs in order to address the issue of the Earth's Environment better,
