The recent reports of an E. coli outbreak in carrots and celery across the U.S. is alarming and sadly has led to tragic consequences. While these contaminated vegetables were supposed to be recalled, there may still be some in grocery store shelves and likely are in homes across the nation. One person has already died and numerous others have been hospitalized. With the holiday season here, it's essential that major food chains across America rid their shelves of potentially contaminated vegetables.

Sign the petition to demand Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Target, Walmart, and Wegmans to verify the removal of all affected products that could be traced back to the source of the E. coli outbreak.

So far, the outbreak has been reported across 18 states, according to the US's Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. With one person dead and others hospitalized, it's critical that these popular grocery chains act quickly to safeguard public health and maintain consumer trust.

Currently, millions of Americans are planning to shop for their holiday meals. Who knows how many people may end up cooking with contaminated vegetables? The potential presence of E. coli in food products is a threat to American public health.

Before buying carrots or celery, make sure to confirm your supply hasn't come from a contaminated batch.

Sign the petition if you think these grocery store chains have a responsibility to take immediate, transparent steps to ensure that all recalled products are completely removed from all stores!
