some pretty horrific treatment of animals.Apparently, in 2012 while on vacation with his family near
Hyannis Port, Massachusetts,
RFK Jr took it upon himself to decapitate a whale that had been washed ashore using a chainsaw and then kept the head for himself.Not only is this incredibly
troubling, disturbing behavior that shows a true lack of respect for animal life; it is a
violation of the Marine Mammal Protection Act, and the Endangered Species Act as well if the whale was endangered, which many are.
Sign the petition and ask that the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) conduct a thorough investigation into this alleged incident, and hold RFK Jr fully accountable for his mistreatment of wildlife!This is not the first alarming story involving RFK Jr and animals. In August 2024, he admitted to
dumping the dead body of a bear cub in New York City's Central Park. RFK Jr claims that he had found the poor baby and picked it up with the intention of skinning it and eating it, but changed his mind and instead dumped it in a way that made it look like the bear had been hit and killed.
"We thought it would be amusing for whoever found it." That's a direct quote – he thought the body of a dead baby bear was funny.Obviously, this is a pattern.
If RFK Jr is openly admitting to both of these incidents, who can say what other horrors he has acted out behind closed doors. But because he has admitted to doing these strange and violent things to animals, we can be sure that justice and accountability can be served.
That's why we're writing to encourage the NOAA to not rest until they have all the evidence they need to charge RFK Jr with violating the Marine Mammal Protection Act and possibly the Endangered Species Act.
