Protect the last American Wild Horses and the public lands in the West.

The current massive Western land grab by oil, gas and mining corporations is exploiting millions of acres in the Western United States.

The current excessive land exploitation is affecting all wild life species including the American Wild Horse. To the extent that there are now more wild horses housed in BLM holding facilities than remain on the open range.

Millions of taxpayer dollars are being used to corral the few remaining American wild horses, which are then underfed, forced into inhumane and diseased living conditions to live out their lives, sold for adoption, or can possibly end up going to Mexican or Canadian slaughterhouses for human consumption.

The Bureau of Land Management estimates it has over 40,000 wild horses in holding facilities, costing taxpayers $120,000 a day.
