End trapping in Penticton, BC

A beautiful cat was maimed in a leg-hold trap set within the borders of the municipality of Penticton. As these traps remain legal provincially, it is up to municipalities to recognize the inherently inhumane acts they cause and take action against them. We demand that Penticton create by-laws prohibiting the use of leg-hold and other body-gripping traps within its borders before more fur-bearing animals and domestic pets are injured, maimed or killed.
