Every breeder of French Bulldogs should be doing a baseline of mandatory Health tests on all dogs. These tests should include:

BOAS - Brachycephaly Obstructive Airway Disease
HC - Hereditary Cataracts
DM - Degenerative Myelopathy
Heart Check
X-ray of Hips and Spine for Hemivertebrae and Hip Dysplacia
Putnam (Patella)
BAER (Hearing)

The health conditions these dogs suffer from are unnecessary, cruel and debilitating and is no life for any animal to lead. Popularity of the French Bulldog can no longer excuse the ill health and many debilitating health conditions the French Bulldog endures in their often brief lifetime. This is due to unethical breeding and no health tests. The French Bulldog is at a tipping point and if it is to be saved and not head down the same road as the English Bulldog, then something drastic needs to happen and it needs to happen NOW!

Stop the unnecessary suffering - take action and help combat the health problems these poor animals endure at the expense of looks and human greed. Denial is not a cure - HEALTH TESTS ARE!
