Save the Wild Mustangs

Mustangs are the Legacy of the American west. Yet the the Bureau of Land Management thinks it is OK to tame them. Our horses need to stay free. I have a group about it. Even if you aren't a member, see it at http://www.care2.com/c2c/group/WildHorseLovers.  A poem I wrote:

Mustangs Running Free

 In the desert

Running

Stallion in front

Leading the whole harem

Shining manes

Tails

An occasional rear in the air

 Why people are killing them, I don%u2019t know!

Beautiful, amazing

Not free for long

 

In the mountains

In the prairies

In the world

 

Eating

Bending gracefully

Just to get grass

Beautiful

Beautiful forever

Just until they%u2019re gone

Legacy for a reason

Why people are killing them, I don%u2019t know

They%u2019re innocent

Free

 

Pretty

Charming

Gorgeous

Bewitching

Graceful

Magnificent

Free for only so long

But here before us
