pollen seasons are beginning earlier, too - and lasting longer. To make matters worse, many regions where weather was previously too cold for pollen-producing plants are warming up now, meaning that plants that produce pollen can now grow there, too.
And, on top of all of that, carbon dioxide in the atmosphere itself also stimulates plants to release more pollen. The result is
higher pollen counts than scientists have ever recorded before, and it is making many of us feel terrible.
