We're turning to President Obama to ask him to permanently protect 1.3 million acres of vital desert lands by designating the Sand to Snow, Castle Mountains and the Mojave Trails including the Pisgah Valley as national monuments!
Host to a variety of rare plants and animals like the desert tortoise, bighorn sheep and golden eagle, these areas play a crucial role in the health and beauty of the California Desert. For now, these areas are largely unspoiled, with wildflowers and scenic vistas scattered across its fiery terrain... But without protection, these areas could be lost forever.
Act now to protect California's beautiful desert wildlife and wild lands!
