Fire Victoria's Secret Exec For Offensive Comments!

To say that lingerie brand Victoria's Secret is "out of touch" is an understatement.

After its recent highly publicized but blandly predictable annual fashion show, Chief Marketing Officer Ed Razek stated that the brand would never hire transgender or plus-sized models, stating that those women did not fit his idea of the fashion show's "fantasy."

These comments were not just offensive — they are extremely misguided. Victoria's Secret biggest competitors, such as Rihanna's Savage by Fenty, actively strive to be inclusive to all women by featuring diverse models and body types in all ads and fashion shows.

This celebration of all bodies has been appreciated and motivational to customers — and brands that embrace diversity have the booming sales to prove it.

Tell Victoria Secret that it needs to embrace all women and bodies — and that Ed Razek should step down immediately for his offensive and derogatory comments.

When pressed on why Victoria Secret isn't more representational of different bodies, Razek stated the brand "...attempted to do a television special for plus-sizes [in 2000]. No one had any interest in it, (they) still don't." He also stated strong opposition to the idea of hiring trans models, using the offensive and outdated term "transexual" in the interview.

It's clear from Ed Razek's dismissive and offensive comments that Victoria's Secret doesn't care about the concerns and needs of its customers — and has instead doubled down on Razek's objectifying and male-centered "fantasy" of what a women should be. 

If Victoria's Secret doesn't stand for all women — they they don't stand for ANY women. Tell Victoria Secret to FIRE Ed Razek immediately as a first step to regain customers' trust.
