Baskin-Robbins Must Keep French Vanilla

This is a petition targeted to the famous ice cream company, Baskin Robbins, on their decision to retire French Vanilla Ice Cream.

Remember the good old days, when you were about the age of 10 years old and begged your parents  to buy you French Vanilla flavored ice cream from Baskin-Robbins?

Those child memories have now defrosted for all of the French Vanilla fans everywhere in America, including myself. French Vanilla is one of the most memorable ice cream flavors ever to be made and has been with Baskin Robbins for years. For them to suddenly discontinue their most cherished creation and replace it with one of 5 completely new unknown flavors is a mistake on their part.

Sure, I don't mind them retiring the other flavors, but French Vanilla? The only reason why I go to Baskin Robbins is to spend my hard cold cash on a large scoop of French Vanilla. Now I'll have to go on a scavenger hunt in the supermarket in the frozen foods section just to buy some French Vanilla Ice Cream! Do you know how hard this is going to hit their market? They'll probably lose millions, maybe even billions!

I think the reason why Baskin-Robbins made their decision is because of this generation. Children these days are looking for new things to try (and kill themselves with). It's same old routine of "Out with the old, in the new". Also, I think it's because Baskin-Robbins may be running out of ideas for new flavor names. Watch one of the names turn out to be based on celebrities, like "Lindsay Frozhan Mint", "Gibson Rant Rainbow", "Gaga PokerBerry" "Steinbrenner Mocha". Maybe even something like "BP Olive Oil".
Would YOU want your CHILD to have a new ice cream flavor named after a British oil company? I know I don't.

My point is, Baskin-Robbins is making a huge mistake for getting rid of French Vanilla. Not only are they robbing us of our child memories, they're making us spend more money in the supermarket just for this flavor. Having thrown away one of their most precious cornerstones of their company just to start on a clean slate of 5 flavors is morally wrong. Baskin-Robbins, if you can read this, then heed my words and follow these two simple rules, or else your company will slowly melt away, just like the ice-caps are right now.

1. Do not retire French Vanilla.

2. DO NOT retire French Vanilla.

To my fellow French-Vanillians, all you have to do is sign this petition. Any non-fans can sign too, if you like.

Now, go forth! Spread the word! Keep French Vanilla alive!

VIVA LA FRENCH VANILLA REVOLUTION!
