BAN THE USE OF TRACKING COLLARS ON WOLVES AND WILDLIFE

Currently there are many wolves wearing tracking collars, so that they can be monitored. This started out as a means to keep up to date status of each wolf, their traveling routes, how they migrated and their habits. These wolves were collared while protected under ESA, Endangered Species Act, which is a Federal protection. Now our government officials have delisted wolves in several states and allowed those states to manage their wolves. State management of wolves = DEAD WOLVES, an all out massacre on them. Hunters are now using these collars to track and kill these magnificent animals. One example, OR-9 aka Braveheart, who crossed into Idaho and as he crossed Brownlee River was killed by a hunter. It is obvious he was following tracking reports to know where OR-9 was and killed him near Emmett, Idaho. With all the new bills that Senators are trying to push, we need to work to get all tracking collars banned. Not only wolves, but all animals and push to make it illegal to put tracking collars on any animal.
We have to put a stop to this senseless killing of innocent animals and enforce the removal of tracking collars. Our wolves and wildlife need your help to save them and take away the ease of finding them with these collars.
