Make a Difference on International Day of Climate Action!
On October 24, 2009, thousands of people around the world are taking part in the International Day of Climate Action. December's UN climate meeting in Copenhagen is a critical juncture for the future of our planet and all of its inhabitants -- and we need YOU to show your government's leadership that combating climate change is not only politically possible, it is politically critical!
The coalition 350.org has launched the International Day of Climate Action on Saturday to bring a common goal of reducing the carbon dioxide in our atmosphere to 350 parts per million -- what our world's top scientists say is the safest upper limit for carbon dioxide on our planet.
We're already at 387 ppm. Now we need to make it clear to our world leaders that we must get back down to at least 350 ppm! You can help deliver this message by adding your name and participating in 350.org's International Day of Climate Action.
Do your part, and on this International Day of Climate Action, demand that your country's leading decision-makers go to Copenhagen with a plan to combat global warming!
