Dear Elected Officials,
We, the undersigned residents of the Town of Ramapo and its surrounding villages, are writing to respectfully request your support in recognizing RCMA (Rockland County Matzilei Aish) as a fully independent, professional, and trained fire company. We believe that incorporating RCMA as an official fire company will significantly enhance public safety and provide much-needed mutual aid to existing fire departments within the district.
And to allow RCMA to respond to all fire emergencies when local residents call RCMA for help. Additionally, encourage other fire companies to collaborate with RCMA, enabling it to operate within the jurisdiction as a professional mutual aid fire company, assisting other fire companies in their respective districts, with any type of fire emergency.
Provide the necessary support and resources to ensure that RCMA is properly equipped, with access to training, resources, and legal backing needed to succeed and grow, enabling them to fulfill their responsibilities as a fully independent operational fire company in the future.
By supporting RCMA, you will ensure that our community remains safe, well-prepared, and resilient in the face of emergencies. We ask that you consider the needs of the residents of Ramapo and the surrounding villages and take immediate action to allow RCMA to become an official and recognized part of our fire service network.
