I support survivors of modern slavery
Modern slavery is happening in every corner of the world, including the UK. It's often hidden and rarely obvious. Demand for cheap goods, cheap labour and cheap sex has created the perfect storm for slavery and human trafficking.
Right now, more than 40 million men, women and children are in modern slavery, more than ever before. People you see in streets, shops and building sites in your community could be living and working in appalling conditions, held against their will with threats of violence. Even people like Olympic star Sir Mo Farah.
The Salvation Army is fighting to bring an end to modern slavery but we need people like you. You can help us seek justice for everyone facing exploitation and abuse right now, and respond with compassionate care to those at risk or recovering.
Across the world, we're working with communities where the risk of modern slavery is high to help them become more resilient to the threat. In the UK we're linking rescued survivors to the support they're entitled to and transporting them to a safe place where our teams help each person get what they need to begin to recover and plan for a new future.
