SPCA International's Operation Baghdad Pups (OBP) program has reunited hundreds of U.S. soldiers with the animals that they fell in love with in the field. But there are many more who need help to be rescued from their dire living conditions and brought to a safe home with their American veterans.

U.S. troops stationed around the world befriend local animals as a way to help cope with the emotional hardships they endure every day while deployed far away from friends and family. These animals help our heroes find a sense of normalcy and love in the midst of uncertainty and separation.
