SAVE OUR BLEACHERS (SOB)

The Peterson Middle School bleachers are now inaccessible and have cyclone fencing surrounding them; and the 3 steps leading up to them have been removed as well. The current SCUSD plan is to dismantled them; but Alumni of Peterson High School have offered to rebuild and/or re-reinforce them and/or replace altogether due to their fond memories of the Peterson bleachers. But the SCUSD still needs to be convinced that this obviously awesome idea is good. The bleachers were recently reinforced with new lumber and are much better than before; but I suspect something happened that caused their closure; I'm not sure what.
