Why do you think we are starting to get floods? Don't blame it on the weather- Britian always has typical bad weather.
Where is all the land going? What about the farms? People are building on top of the land.

So if we think of the land as a sponge and the concrete as an old victorian bath (before plumbing was invented) The when it rains, the sponge will absort the water where as the victorian bath with just gather water until someone moves the water out.
The aim of this petition is to stop building on land when we don't have enough of it and help prevent the flooding to vunerable people and animals.
