Ask San Francisco Marathon to Clarify Policies Around Transgender Runners

The Boston Marathon just clarified its stance on transgender runners, saying that people will be allowed to run under the gender they specify. It's a huge win for transgender athletes, who are often faced with controversy over whether they can compete in alignment with their gender identity.

Chicago, New York City, London and Los Angeles Marathons also said they honor the gender that runners submit when they sign-up.
