President Obama: We need your help. Our future is on the line

We are joined by 19 other young people who are suing the U.S. government for failing to protect our future from climate change, and for violating our constitutional rights to life, liberty, and property. Watch our video letter to President Obama here.

President Obama has said, “We will respond to the threat of climate change, knowing that the failure to do so would betray our children and future generations.” He can now turn these words into action.

The President can make the youth climate lawsuit a win for both sides. Young people don’t want to fight him in court. We want to sit at the table with him to create a plan that will save the climate for our future. His legacy on climate is at stake.

Let’s get President Obama to use his executive power to resolve this lawsuit and protect the rights of children and future generations to a safe climate before he leaves office.
