Every day, many animals are put up on Kijiji for 'sale' or for 'FREE'; which invites and allows nothing but horrific outcomes for that animal! Animals are NOT mere property like a sofa, a lamp or jeans that are otherwise sought out on these types of websites such as Kijiji.
Animals are sentient beings that can feel pain, terror, and abandonment! This media site should be selling cars and furniture, NOT ANIMALS OF ANY KIND!
There are people out there who 'find' pets when the truth is they have stolen them, and are actually SELLING them for PROFIT or worse, selling them as bait for dogfighting! To Laboratories for animal testing, or in the hands of sadistic individuals for an endless array of atrocities.
Those pets need to go back to their owners OR pets need to be adopted out properly with a vetting system.
We must collectively press to get ANIMALS OFF OF THIS SITE!!!
STOP KIJIJI FROM SELLING ANIMALS/PETS AND LETTING PEOPLE GIVE ANIMALS AWAY FOR FREE with no effort made at vetting them!!!
