We support Kshama Sawant and reject calls to remove her from Seattle City Council

At the election of Donald Trump, Seattle City Councilperson Kshama Sawant spoke to the public and encouraged and supported her constituents' and Seattle residents' constitutional right to free speech and public gatherings to express themselves. Never did she encourage violence or riots, and those petitioning for her removal are peddling mistruths. She fights for all of us, even those who disagree with protests or her views. We support her and do not give credence to these attacks on her character and our fundamental rights. We ask that you do the same.

Note: Petition created to recall Kshama Sawant is by individuals in Texas and North Carolina, who have no business in Seattle politics.
