Tell Obama- Wolves have NOT made a "Full Recovery"

  • par: Animal Advocates
  • destinataire: President Barack Obama, Secretary of Interior Ken Salazar
Wolves have NOT made a full recovery, nor can they as humans have set them on a sure path to extinction as governors from  Alaska, Idaho, Wyoming, Minnesota, Wisconson, Montana, Oregon and Washington seek to push the federal government to get the wolf off of the endangered species list in the special interest of hunters.

Their natural habitat is dwindling though human land use which includes ranchers and cattle grazing, real estate developers, logging, mining and oil drilling. Their natural food source has been disrupted through poisioning and hunting of their natural prey. Not even mentioning what the BLM has done to decimate the wild horse population (another food source for the wolf).

They have less land and less prey than ever before making them more endangered now than ever before. We ask that you re-list the wolf as an endangered species and don't allow them to be killed for the thrill of hunters. If anything, relocate them where land and prey food are plentiful, far away from cattle ranchers, real estate developers, loggers, oil and mining companies.
