Please sign this - this is to help us get a bigger voice to save and keep our 19 cats who are in danger of being taken away from us! Our health, our wellbeing and that of our cats are in jeopardy!
We need help to get a permit for special circumstances (us being mentally and physically disabled and attatched to our cats - they are our family! Our children!) or to get a transfer to a home outside the town where permits for more than 5 cats are allowed.
Please help us show the Council and DHS that animals matter to people and that taking away healthy animals from a home where they are well cared for and loved in is detrimental to the health and wellbeing of both the humans and the animals involved! Please show them that special circumstances should apply here and should also apply to others who are in a similar position and that in the long run it will not only help us it can help Rescues find more foster homes and more adopters. The laws are too strict and it has been noted that since they came in that death rates in the local pounds are higher! People fear to allow animals into their homes and hearts because the law limits them so severely.
