Train doctors to provide safe abortion option

Abortion pill Mifegymiso has finally become free in Ontario, Canada. The drug is a safe way to abort early stage pregancies. It is particularly useful for women in remote and rural areas. This is great news for women's health and our hard-won right to control our own bodies.

But there's a problem.

Less than 3% of GPs in surveyed local areas have taken or are registered to take the online training required in order to prescribe the drug.

Please sign this petition to demand that Health Canada ensures that at least 50% of GPs in Ontario are trained in prescribing Mifegymiso by 2018. Help us achieve safe and free abortion accesss for Ontario.
