As a fan of the CFL and the Toronto Argonauts I feel the no pole law in the Rogers Centre has gone a little to far.
Bring back the pole What's a ship without a flag or pole?
This petition is for the Toronto Argonauts and Rogers centre (Argo Dome) to let the fans bring back the flagpole.
As fans of football we have the right to show our colors, show our expressions to the rest of the fans watching. Nothing wrong with waving a flag or hanging a stuffed toy at the end of a pole.
Come on people??? It's ok for a baseball to fly by some fan at 90 miles an hour, a broken hockey stick to fly into the stands, a frozen puck to bounce off someone’s melon. All we want to do is show our team we our here to support them.
If that means waving a flag of hanging some poor stuffed toy off a pole then so be it.
If this means we have to wrap a role of tape at both ends of a pole then so be it. I'll supply the tape.
This is not a petition to start an argument with the Toronto Argonauts and Rogers centre it's just to let them know that a flagpole should be let back into the game.
We our asking fans of football to give us your support on this by signing your name and reasons you think we should let fans wave their colors.
