Public Health is Public Safety - Take the pledge! America is at a crossroads, it can continue with the failed and disastrous policies of the decades long War on Drugs or choose a new direction by prioritizing public health
AND public safety when it comes to how we treat drug use. The latter is the only way we can bring harm-reducing, compassionate and smart policy to the current drug epidemic which kills more than 100,000 people a year.
We need more just policies surrounding drugs: Pledge to promote care over cruelty by supporting drug policy that prioritizes public health and safety over punishment.
"I will do everything in my power to include, invest in, and uplift people personally impacted by the harmful, draconian approaches to drugs in America. I resolve to build bridges, work with anyone who is willing to push the needle to improve drug policy and pursue a better, safer future."
The current system isn't working. We need something better:
