Lebanon needs a permanent ceasefire to stop the relentless attacks that are devastating the lives of civilians.
We are appalled by the rapid escalation of violence in Lebanon and the massive bombing campaign by the Israeli military across southern Lebanon, the Bekaa Valley and parts of Beirut.
The people of southern Lebanon are now in the midst of a deep crisis. Many of them are living in extreme poverty, with scarce access to food, water and basic healthcare.
More than 100,000 have already been forced to flee and seek refuge from relentless bombings, among them people with disabilities and children. Without urgent help, they won't have access to even the basics needed to survive.
Our teams are on the ground assessing the most urgent needs and helping those who have been displaced, but those needs are growing rapidly. We need to drastically scale up our response to support those who are being evacuated.
