Help End Animal Testing by Supporting the Humane Cosmetics Act

Did you know that many of the products you and your family use every day are still tested on animals? Rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, and rats are regularly being blinded, poisoned, and killed to test lipstick, mascara, cologne, and other cosmetic products.

In this day and age, there is NO reason to continue cruel testing on innocent animals as there are alternatives that could be widely adopted if the EPA and NIH budgets were sufficiently funded to support this life-saving work.

If passed, the Humane Cosmetics Act (H.R. 2858) will prohibit testing cosmetics on animals and no cosmetics may be sold or transported if the final product or any component was developed or manufactured using animal testing.

This is our chance to help end the senseless suffering caused by animal testing. It's up to each of us to raise our voices now to ensure our leaders do the right thing.

Help end testing cosmetics on animals in the U.S. – just like in more than 30 countries where this dated practice has been phased out, including Norway, Israel, India and every country in the European Union.
