"LAS VEGAS (FOX5) - Las Vegas Metro police on Thursday called a press conference to discuss an ongoing investigation into a cockfighting operation discovered the day prior in the east Valley. Two arrests were made. Police recovered about 550 birds from a home. This was more of a training and breeding facility for fighting; the largest animal-fighting ring that has been stopped in Nevada."
