In the last three years, rhino killings have risen by more than 7,000% in South Africa, escalated tremendously due to an international demand for rhino horns. If we do not move quickly, the rhino will be in grave danger for same in Swaziland. We want to urge the country’s leader to abandon plans to legalize the rhino horn trade. Continuing this plan would likely increase demand and fuel more senseless rhino killings, putting these animals on the brink of extinction.
The effort in this petition is to encourage Swaziland's King Mswati III to protect Africa’s wild rhinos and drop any plans to legalize the international rhino horn trade. We need to address this issue immediately by cracking down on the senseless and illegal rhino horn trade. You can help with this issue by signing and sharing this petition, adding your own thoughts and comments in support of these animals.
