STOP taking all staff parking

As you will all be aware by now, Noosa council have decided that as local workers in hasting st we are no longer entitled to park in a reasonable distance from our work place.
what I'm confused about is where does the council expect the working staff of hasting st to park?
I understand that parking in hasting st as a tourist has become almost impossible but i don't believe removing the only reasonable parking for local workers is the only option to crete more tourism because at the end of the day, if you don't have staff to run all the retail and hospitality stores you won't have a thriving tourist destination to promote.
I want a fair options for the workers. What the council have done is nothing more then revenue raising. Help me tell them that what they have done is completely unfair.
